c. 1820 Child's Horse Sketch, Probably Philadelphia

$650.00
Charming original child's early 19th century drawing (graphite/paper) of horses, probably made around 1820 in the Philadelphia area. Found among a group of paper ephemera tied to Philadelphia and this time period. Carefully and professionally framed in a period parcel gilt wooden frame under conservation glass and floated to maximize the viewing area and impact over a charcoal grey background. The addition of a cream colored matte has been placed behind the drawing to minimize the visual impact of small area of loss. In the unsigned image, there are five horse heads drawn and a complete horse with the word 'HORSE' penciled in. Delightful. Would make a very fine gift for an equestrian. Dimensions: 13" x 17" in the frame. Check out some fine art: https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP?ref=shop_sugg§ion_id=14973859 Or just browse around the shop! https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP
