An excellent Art Deco silver-plated lint brush by Gero, distinguished by its boldly hammered silver-plated surface and strongly geometric form. The restrained, architectural design is characteristic of the best European Art Deco domestic objects of the period, with the textured hammering providing an especially attractive contrast to the clean lines of the brush. The underside retains its original stiff bristles set into a wooden backing, preserving the brush's intended function as well as its period construction.
