This buckle is about as good an example of art nouveau sterling as you'll likely find. William B Kerr is legendary for the highest quality art nouveau work. This piece features a pair of elaborate cherubs that fit together to form a two piece buckles. Marked for Sterling and with the Kerr hallmark plus there is a possible tally mark. Size is 2.75" clasped. Weight is 19 grams. Made to carry a 1" strap.
