Chinese Sterling Silver Vase by Hung Chong of Shanghai

A Yi Sheng made and Hung Chong retailed Chinese export silver bud vase, ca. 1890-1920 with dragon feet. Well marked on the base as shown. Not weighted, well constructed pieces. In good condition with some battle scars on the ebonized wood base. Slight lean. The text reads, "周百鹿壺吉祥壽考,漢雙魚洗富貴侯王。" “Zhou Bailu pot brings good luck and longevity, Han Dynasty Pisces washes wealth and honor for the princes.” The small marker mark is 義生 Yi Sheng 6.5” in height.
