Exceptional Qing Chinese Silver Strawberry Fork (41 g)

$160.00
This is a form that I have never before encountered! A Chinese export silver strawberry spoon, c. 19th century with floral motif. Deeply and clearly marked on the stem bottom as shown in Chinese characters. In close to perfect condition with an outstanding finish. Minor superficial flaws commensurate with age and use. Strawberry forks, in the Western tradition, are easily identified by their extremely long and narrow tongs. Weight: 41 grams 7.75" in length.
