Fossilized Pleistocene Horse / Equus Middle Phalanx Foot Bone

This is the fossilized middle phalanx (foot) bone from a horse of the Pleistocene period. Condition is good with one small chip that reveals the texture of the bone pores inside. Fascinating conversation starter. Could be mounted and be really special, but it does stand up nicely on its own too. Really an unusual and well preserved example.
