We made this set of four extremely heavy gauge solid sterling silver dragon candlesticks in-house after an original by Japanese silversmith, Mototake (Futagami Tsunetaro) in his late Meiji design. The roaring dragons hold a two-handled cauldrons in their claws above their head menacingly. The three-toed dragons are encircled in flames and smoke that run wildly down the length of the body and spiked tail. No details have been spared including the scaly bellies. Give us a few weeks to fulfill your order as these are completely made by hand and they take time to make correctly. The original was found by a picker in a West Texas pawn shop and we loved it so much, we decided to make a limited run of magnificent reproductions.
