This is a fine wool hand woven Bokhara carpet (possibly Multan, Kashmir, Hyderabad, Lahore or one of the surrounding areas of the northeast region). Approximately 256 kpi.
Conservatively, this item has an antique appearance and has some wear especially to the binding at the edges and one general area in the main body of the rug which appears as a subtle line. Carpet is extremely soft and generally appealing as an area rug.
Colors: shades of red and burgundy, black, white
Composition: 100% wool (camel?) on a wool warp and weft.
