This is an older handmade 35 mm negative carrier of copper and brass hinges. A little gaffer's tape was applied yo the inside and could be removed. What an interesting item! Hand cut negative carriers impose irregular boundaries on photographs. This gives a great deal of character to a photograph and avoids he perfect borders seen in commercial carriers. Hand cut carriers are individual, each having its own fingerprint. Hard to find item.
